UPCOMING EVENTS:

Oceano Kiwanis will be holding a pancake breakfast
on Father's Day, June 15th, 8:00AM- 12:00Noon.
Bring dad and all the family, have breakfast and see the Depot's new
model railroad courtesy of the San Luis Obispo Model Railroad Association.

Restoration on our caboose is chugging along and it will soon
be completed. Watch this site for news of our celebration and dedication
ceremony. We will be serving up "Hobo Stew" for all you railroad fans.

 

This Southern Pacific Railroad Station was the center of the most of the commercial and transportation activities in South San Luis Obispo country from 1904 until the 1950's Retired from service in 1973. It has been moved 400 yards north of the original site and is being restored by volunteer efforts for its new role as a community center.
